Jimarndy (QLD)

CPC acquired Jimarndy in October 2022. The increase in CPC's branding rates and further development of our northern breeding properties requires us to invest further in backgrounding land.

The aggregation comprises of Jimarndy (3646ha/9009 acres), Tawarri (9500ha/23,475 acres), Tandarra (4402ha/10,878 acres), Langley (4,882ha/12,064 acres) and a 4410ha (10,897 acre) forestry lease adjoining the aggregation. CPC intends to invest further in Australian grazing and cropping properties, with the Jimarndy aggregation to be integrated into the CPC portfolio.

The property will primarily take weaners from Wrotham Park Station to grow out into feedlot steers.

Lester & Stacey Bolton
Allawah Manager
Joined CPC in
2011

Lester first joined CPC when Comely, a former CPC station, was acquired in 2011. Born in Longreach Qld, Lester grew up on a sheep property west of Jundah. After completing school, Lester worked on four properties around Goondiwindi over the next 15 years before starting work with Colonial Agricultural Company. Colonial transferred Lester to Comely and not long after moving there the property was listed for sale.

Over the following five years Comely ownership changed hands three times before being purchased by CPC in 2011.

CPC sold Comely Station in 2019, Lester and his wife Stacey remained with the new owner continuing to manage the property until the opportunity to return to CPC and manage Allawah became available in early 2020. Lester enjoyed the new challenges at Allawah whilt Stacey  managed the stud data recording along with raising their young family.  Lester and Stacey moved to Jimarndy in October 2022.

Lester has six sons, Tom, Henry, Gus, Jack, Charlie and Clancy.  Lester and Stacey had their first son Jack in 2017, then welcomed Charlie in 2019 and Clancy in 2020.
